David was an executive at BP for 10 years during a 30-year career which included Technology Vice President, Conversion. Following BP he has held senior roles as COO at Hydrodec Group, an clean and sustainable re-refining oil company and was Senior Vice President and COO at Ze-gen Inc., a Boston based start-up developing Liquid Metal Gasification technology to repurpose high energy content waste destined for landfills into syngas.
His current roles include Chair of a biotech spin-out from Strathclyde University and Technical Advisor to the CEO of a leading plasma gasification company.
David is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, a Charted Engineer, has a BSc from Strathclyde University in Scotland and completed an Executive Education programme at Harvard Business School.
